What to expect – Put your mind at ease knowing North County Inspections Inc. conducts high quality safety inspections providing you with reliable service you can trust. You will proceed with confidence and a better understanding of the condition of the property you are investing in. Your home inspector will conduct a thorough visual inspection of your entire home, which includes: the roof, general structure, plumbing, electrical, and installed heating and cooling systems. Some of the many steps in the process will involve: operating all accessible plumbing fixtures and faucets and drains in the kitchen and sinks, toilets and showers and tubs in all bathrooms to test for active leaks: they will test polarity for electrical receptacles and inspect the main electrical supply location, they will inspect the general condition of the entire home and enter any accessible attic and crawl space to look for possible defects. We utilize the latest technology in tools and equipment in order to give us the best opportunity to find any possible defects in your home. Whether in person, virtually, or by phone, your inspector will provide you with a verbal summary covering items of note, such as: items that are timely or that should be further addressed by licensed contractors. Everything your inspector covers will be detailed in our home inspection report which will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you will be able to see the items discussed, along with some images to illustrate examples of some of our findings.

Once your inspector has completed their detailed inspection, they will provide you with a verbal summary, including some more important items that should be noted, such as: water and fuel shut-off locations to the home, and other items that should be further evaluated by licensed contractors. Your inspector will take their time to answer any questions and address any concerns you may have, and will do their best to ensure you fully understand the information you will receive in your report.
